Description
Leonov Tribute
The STRELA Leonov Tribute LTR40CY is a mechanical hand-wound
chronograph with a 40 mm stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal
and a water-resistance rating of 10 ATM.
Its design is inspired by historic STRELA chronographs associated
with Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov and the first spacewalk in 1965.
The modern Leonov Tribute is a contemporary interpretation rather
than a historical original.
Dial and case
The warm beige dial features applied gold-tone baton indexes,
matching hands and a contrasting blue central chronograph hand.
Cyrillic markings retain the characteristic STRELA appearance.
The 40 mm stainless-steel case combines brushed sides with polished
lugs and bezel surfaces. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal.
Two case backs
The watch is supplied with a display case back fitted and an
additional solid stainless-steel case back. The solid back is
engraved with a representation of the historic Poljot 3017 movement.
An optional
engraving case back
is available separately.
Sea-Gull ST1901 movement
The hand-wound Sea-Gull ST1901 is a traditional mechanical
column-wheel chronograph movement operating at 21,600 vibrations
per hour.
