The black dial of the Cosmos CO40CYB-AW version a bit more modern – green luminous indexes, luminous hands (Superluminova), tachymeter scale. A Strela design carefully cultivated over decades.

The new advanced 10 ATM case design resembles the well-known 3017 pioneer models flown in space – brushed side, polished lugs and bezel.

The watch has a sapphire crystal and comes with a stunningly finished case back. Engraved with the design ST1940 movement. PLUS the premounted display glass case back.

Movement: ST 1940 SeaGull a precise and strong running automatic chronograph caliber with 33 jewels, column wheel, operates at 3 Hz (21,600 vph). Running second dial at the 9 o’clock position, a 30 minute counter sub-dial at 3 o’clock, and a sweep second counter mounted centrally along with the timekeeping minute and hour hands.

The chronograph functions are controlled through two buttons, one (at 2 o’clock) for starting and stopping the chronograph, one (at 4 o’clock) for resetting the second and minute counters.
